Mélys & Dave Burn | Double-Bill

Saturday November 29th at Village Underground Lisboa

The first collab between Lisbon-based folk music record labels, Cheap Wine & Street Mission Records

Don’t miss!

Mélys

Melodies of mirages; music of bodies and shipwrecks. Floral folk opens the door to a world where acoustics and electronics merge to make way for other sounds, in solo, duo or quartet. A musical setting where singer-guitarist-composer Mélys draws her lyrics from the emotions and sensations that the organic world makes her feel.

Dave Burn

Dave Burn’s music takes elements of Brit folk artists such as Richard Thompson and American singer-songwriters from Tim Rose to Tom Petty, then blends them with the sound of classic London indie bands and UK Americana, topped off with literary, twisting lyrics examining both life’s biggest questions and it’s most fascinating ordinary moments.
